Busy Bee

We moved!!! March 1st.
Into a house. 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms!
WE LOVE IT!!!

Here is our front door. I love my welcome plant and I need to find a pretty spring time wreath to hang on my front door.

Front of our house

Back yard: My mom gave us this little table until we can get one like this !

Lc's play set from Walmart and hot tub to the far left!
I will show you the inside once I clean it and hang pictures. lol

I was given 2 wonderful showers this past month.
Here is a glimpse inside of my house.

My beautiful mom- Me at 35 weeks

Then another shower given to me by my Aunt on my Dad's side of the fam.
Me at 36 1/2 weeks- EEEK-not the best pic

Moving along...
I took LC to get a picture with the Easter Bunny.
Here she is in her dress before we left.

This pic captures her true personality! She is such a crack up!

Lc's pretty smile

She was terrified to sit next to the Easter Bunny, but I told her if she did she can go on the carousel after. haha.

Keeping my promise. Carousel fun!

Thats all the pic's I have taken, but we have been busy unpacking, organizing and washing all of baby girl #2 things. Lc still is adjusting to sleeping in her own room. It has been a real challenge, but we will get through it. We have a piggy bank and every time she sleep in her room she gets to p ut change in her bank and she really loves that! Already money driven, yikes! lol
She seems to be very excited for baby girl to arrive. I'm hoping she will adjust fine.
Hubby has been busy with work. We barely see him these days, but it's ok.
I currently have 3 more weeks till baby girl arrives!
I cannot wait to meet her and love on her!
After today I will be all set and ready for her to make her grand entrance.
Here is the diaper bag I just ordered myself too.

I love how big it is. haha

Oh and off the subject of baby...
I ordered a Clarisonic Mia and got it in the mail 3 days ago, and I love how clean and fresh my face feels after using it. It's pretty amazing.
I also bought Estee Lauders Advanced Night Repair serum and LOVE LOVE LOVE it. I have already seem a difference in my skin and it's only been a week.  I highly recommend it.
My next purchase will be the Night Repair

Ok, back to baby update.

I am currently 37 1/2 weeks pregnant and feeling pretty good. My mind has a list of 20 things I want to get done throughout the day, but my body only allows maybe 5-8 things to be accomplished. haha.
Oh and you know what?
Downfall of this last month of being preggers...
Waking up with a puddle of drool on my pillow. NICE!
Yuck, lol.
I get irregular contractions throughout the day and night, but nothing too crazy.
I have gained a total of 40 pounds.
My boobs are huge, and when I was putting lotion on them this morning they actually leaked a little bit. haha. TMI
This never happened with LC???
Thats pretty much it.

I'm excited for Easter and will be back to share with you what we did for Easter next week!

Baby Girl #2~ Crib Bedding

With Lc I never bought a whole bed set for her crib.
I mean I think she slept in her crib like a handful of times. Gasp!
She is 2 and still sleeps in our bed!!!
Why?
I am a believer in co-sleeping!
No judging please.
I do admit sleeping with your child for this long is... lets just say hard at times.
I think 1 yr. is enough, but having your first child for us we didn't mind her sleeping with us so long.
We loved it.
Now that baby #2 is coming shortly we definitely know Lc needs to be in her own room and bed.
When we move in 1 week we will have a 4 bedroom house!
The girls will be sharing a room. Then there will be our room. A play room and a guest/craft room.
With baby #2 I know I will be co- sleeping with her until I feel comfortable with her in her crib at night full time. I'm thinking 6-9 months old.
I am worried however that Lc will be jealous and feel like we replaced her with the baby being in our bed, but we have been talking her "big girl" bed/room up and she appears to be very excited about it.
I'm going to make her room look ah-mazing, and hopefully she will be so excited about it and cannot wait to sleep in her own room.
Thankfully we'll have 8 weeks to have her adjust before baby #2 arrives.
(We also have been putting her in her toddler bed after she falls a sleep in our bed)
Anyways,
So I went online and started looking for twin bedding and even crib bedding.
I found the most adorable shabby chic bedding from Target online.
Lc's bedding is a soft pink/almost white comforter with shabby chic roses and ruffles.
I absolutely love it!
Great price too- $79.99

Then for baby # 2's crib bedding I got the perfect compliment to Lc's bedding, yet it being different at the same time.
Price $99- Can't beat that people!

( My own pictures bc the one online doesn't come out very good).

this is the pic from online. It's a tad blurry.

Blanket/Quilt

I'm expecting the rest of my order to arrive today so I am very excited about it.
Too bad it has to go in a box for another week.

I'm thinking of painting the walls either a shabby chic blue or green. I think pink will be a tad much.
When we move and get situated I will take pic's of the room all done up!

30 weeks pregnant

This pregnancy has been a whole lot easier than when I was pregnant with Lc.
Doesn't sound like it with the sentence below, but I'm telling you it was. haha

Baby girl # 2
  • I did get nauseous all day long for the first 15 weeks of pregnancy, threw up a handful of times, and had an appetite like no other!
  • After the 15 week mark things got a whole lot better. I finally got some energy back. My nausea went away. I was feeling good.
  • At 17 weeks I felt the baby kick for the first time.
  • At 19 weeks we were told we were having a girl and not a boy. haha. Sorry hubby! I guess we still have 1 or 2 more times to make a boy.
  • We cannot agree on a name and my belly didn't pop till I was like 6 months pregnant. People see my belly now at 7 1/2 months preggers and think I'm like barely 6 months along. lol.  But at all my doctors appt. the baby measures normally and all is well this far!
  • This sweet lil' angel on her way is also a lot less active than Lc was. She moves around, but her movements aren't as jerky and strong. She like glides around in there. If that makes sense.
  • She is also awake all night, but I am not bothered by it.
  • Speaking up being up all night...ugh. Sleep? Whats that?! I have had terrible insomnia for the past 4 weeks, and the worst dreams ever! Annoying!!!
  • I recently bought a body pillow that helps me to relax better and find a position I can get comfortable in.
  • Lc is so excited to be a big sister. She kisses my belly daily and tells me how she will help change diapers, rock her in her swing and change her clothes. haha. We have had many conversations about this baby coming. I've shown her some videos and pictures of babies in mommy's bellies. I think she kinda understands as much as a 2 yr. old can. I really think she will adjust just fine and love her sister to death!
  • Food cravings (nothing crazy but foods I like to eat almost daily): Bagels, Apples, Smoothies, Ice cream sundaes, Pizza, Over easy eggs and Toast.
  • I have gained a total of 30 pounds so far.
  • My skin on my face is extremely dry and peely. Weird!
  • Not as hormonal as I was with Lc. I actually feel very stable and happy. I do have a little less patience with Lc sometimes though. Nothing too crazy though.

Over all this pregnancy has gone really good and has flown by.

I cannot believe we get to meet our little girl in 10 weeks.
It's going to fly by because in the next 2 weeks we move into our house.
3 weeks later is my baby shower. Then 5 weeks later is my due date.
So I will be very busy in these next 10 weeks to make the time go by faster!

Here is some pic's I have taken this pregnancy.

Aug 20th, 2011 took my pregnancy test

We sent Daddy this picture at work to tell him the good news.
